

He was a retired milk truck driver.
He was a member of Whittenburg United Methodist Church.
Edd served with the U.S. Army in Germany for 2 years.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years: Betty “Dot” Hogan; son: James Allen Hogan; sister: Roberta Harris; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Ronnie and Beulah Cochran and James and Ruth Cochran; brother-in-law: Glen Myers of Morristown; sister-in-law: Shirley Cochran of Crossville; numerous nieces and nephews, including a special niece: Arlene “Curly” Mitchell; and his special friends: Ann Tobie and Lois Wilhoit.
He was the son of the late William and Mary Knight Hogan and was preceded in death by a brother: William Grant “Snake” Hogan; and sisters: Ethel Davis, Eldora Ellis, and Elsie Hogan.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, in Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Jon Pursley and Rev. Hal Kirk officiating.
Interment will follow in Whittenburg United Methodist Cemetery.
His nephews will be his pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of “The Rook Club”.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Whittenburg Cemetery, in care of Anthony Sauceman, 6270 West Allens Bridge Road, Greeneville, TN 37743.
