

He was a paramedic for Washington County-Johnson City EMS and he was a member of the Limestone Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of the Dive Team and Search and Rescue.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Jason was a Mason of the Arcana Lodge.
He was a loving father and husband.
Survivors include his wife: Jenna Austin; daughter: McKenna Austin; father: Al Austin of Limestone; sister and brother-in-law: Angie and Terry Beets of Greeneville; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Kathy and James Stephens of Mosheim; brother-in-law: Cole Stephens of Mosheim; nephew: Austin Beets; grandmother: Viva Kate Malone of Chuckey; uncles and aunts: Jerry and Jill Malone of Afton, Larry and Louise Austin of Gloucester Point, Virginia, Dr. Maynard and DaVena Austin of Greeneville, and Mark and DiAnn Dowell of Deltona, Florida; and many special friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Austin, grandparents: Lonnie and Grace Austin, and grandfather, Sam Malone.
The family will receive friends from 2pm-6pm Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, a memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Chaplain Danny Ricker along with the Honor Guard from Johnson City-Washington County EMS and Limestone Fire Department conducting the service.
There will be a gathering of family and friends at Limestone Free Will Baptist Church after the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Tennessee Bank for his daughter, McKenna.
