

She retired from Greeneville Light and Power. She was married to Donnie Seaton 29½ years. He was the love of her life; often telling others it was the best years of her life. She was a member of Susong Memorial Church and attended as long as her health permitted.
She is survived by two special nieces, who were also her caregivers, Diane Foreman and Angela (Brian) Hixon; two additional nieces, Linda Womack and Barbara Fellers; a nephew, Ray Tullock; several great nieces and great nephews; a brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law: Robert and Willie Kate Seaton, and Mazel Seaton; two stepchildren: John Seaton and Donna Seaton; several step grandchildren; special friends, Mary Helen (Duane) Clowers, Carolyn Cooter, Linda Smith, many friends and special neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Seaton; her parents, Glen and Nina Hope; four sisters: Clarice Whittaker, Marlene Howe, Asilee Casteel and Louise Booker; one brother, Robert “Bob” Hope.
The family would like to extend special thanks to her nurse, Tammy Ambrose for taking such special care of Jean.
The family will receive friends 4:00-7:00 pm Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Tommy Collins and Clay Wilkerson will officiate.
Interment will take place at 10:00 am Thursday at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 9:00 am to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Lyman Seaton, Wayne Gibson, Chris Seaton, Matthew Seaton, Ben Seaton, George Miller, and Chris Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be Frankie Seaton and Danny Ball.
Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
