

He was an employee of John Deere Power Products.
Mr. Evans was of the Baptist tradition of faith. He was a member of the Greeneville Moose Lodge.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years: Regina Evans; a son: Doug Evans of Greeneville; a daughter: Julie Evans Wright of Greeneville; one grandson: Levi Wright; two granddaughters: McAilyn Evans and McKenzie Evans; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Donald and Mable Dean of Greeneville; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Dwayne and Lori Dean, Terry and Sandra Dean, Donna and Anthony Ball, Deborah Evans; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; two special cousins: Janie Evans and Ronnie Evans; special friends: Roy Collins, Tim Livesay, and Mark Reaves.
He was the son of the late Lawrence “Doc” and Mary Hurst Evans and was preceded in death by
two brothers, Rex Evans and Bobby Evans; one sister, Debra “Sister” Evans.
The funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 24, 2011, in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel. Rev. Greg Douthat will officiate. Interment will follow at Phillipi Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tim Livesay, Roy Collins, Mark Reaves, Robert Landers, Terry Dean, Dwayne Dean, Jason Dean, and Doug Evans. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Greeneville Moose Lodge and his co-workers at John Deere Power Products.
The family will receive friends 6-9 p.m. Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
