Joan Catherine McQuade

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband: Joseph E. McQuade, Sr.; children and their spouses: JoAnn Smith and husband David of Afton, Ronald McQuade and wife Paulette of Elizabethton, Richard McQuade and wife Vickie of Mosheim, Joseph McQuade Jr. and wife Janet of Amsterdam, New York, and Mary Herrington and husband Harold of Greeneville; grandchildren and spouses: Timothy Smith and wife Teresa, Heather Wood and husband Randy, Chris McQuade and wife Jamie, Brandon McQuade, Darcy McQuade, Joseph McQuade III and wife Vickie, Rodney Herrington and wife Kelly, Norman Herrington and wife Kelly, William Herrington and wife Kristen, and Lori Higgins; great grandchildren: Daniel Smith, Sarah Smith, Danyelle Higgins, Brye Higgins, Michelle Hall and husband Joshua, Jake Wood, Garrett Wood, Viviana McQuade, Jewelian McQuade, Claire McQuade, Alisia Herrington, Josh Herrington, Chris Herrington, Tyler Herrington, and Matthew Herrington; and a great-great grandchild: Aubrey Hall.

She was preceded in death by her parents: William H. and May Nerney Gentry; two sons: William McQuade and Michael McQuade; and one sister: Mary Vosbourgh.

There will be no formal service or visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to Caris Hospice at 225 West Summer Street, Greeneville, TN 37743; or to the Greene County EMS at 6530 Horton Highway, Greeneville, TN 37745.
