

He was the former owner of Depot Star Grill.
Mr. Long was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include four daughters: Nancy Cutshaw of Afton, Drusilla Long, Sylvia “Tank” Johnson and Michael Bullen, all of Greeneville, and Charlene Wolf and husband, Rick, of Russellville; two sons: David Smith and wife, Patricia, of Kingsport, Jimmy Kimery and wife, Kathy, of Greeneville; 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brother: Ray Long of Greeneville; two sisters-in-law: Pat Long and Mary Jane Long of Greeneville; several nieces and nephews; special friends of Depot Street; and his special companion: Mossy.
He was the son of the late Cecil and Dixie Long and was preceded in death by an infant son, John Tilden Long, four brothers, and four sisters.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be at 8 pm Friday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dolphus Cutshaw officiating.
Interment will be at 1pm Saturday in Hardin’s Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tony Sandridge, Rick Wolfe, Jay Cutshaw, Jonathan Hicks, Johnny Hicks, and Keith Cutshaw.
Honorary Pallbearers are Peter Lollars, Wayne Horton, Donny Lundy, Donny McLain, Becky Thompson King, and Cecil Thompson.
The family wished to express a special thanks to the staff of Caris Hospice and to Dr. Charles Montgomery.
