Kandace Hopson

Kandi Hopson, age 36, of Greeneville, passed away Friday, February 6, 2026 at her home. She was a medical assistant and attended Victory Church of God. She was a basketball coach of Greeneville Rec. Center and was very active in children’s activities at East View Elementary.

She is survived by her husband: Cody Hopson; three sons: Alex, Aden and Andy Hopson; a mother: Janet Cody Fox and husband Anthony Fox; a father: William B. Knight; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Joy and Craig Malone; grandparents: Kendall and Frankie Bowers; great grandmother-in-law: Shirley Davis; two step-sisters: Rachel and Brandon Freeman, Rebecca and Brady Shoppe; one niece: Callie Shoppe; one nephew: Clayton Freeman and special friends: Teonia Davis, Beth Ricker, Angela Starnes and Lashonda Bledsoe.

The family will receive friends from 12-3 pm on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with the service following at 3:00 pm in the chapel. Rev. Jim Fillers and Rev. Chris Castle will officiate. Interment will be held at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens following the service.

Pallbearers will be: Jason Bowers, Wayne Davis, Tyler Ricker, Cody Lowery, Ryan Brown and Russell Morrison.

Kiser Rose Hill Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
