Katrina Layman

Katrina loved shopping flea markets, loved animals and spent a lot of time crafting. She always tried to help others and had the biggest heart. She took pride and joy and loved her grandkids something fierce. Her laughter was contagious.

She is survived by her father, Eugene Hankins of Tusculum, mother, Swanetta Burton of Sycamore, Illinois; sister, Lena King of Indiana; brother, Twopony (Josh) Hankins of Genoa, Illinois; daughter, Kayilae Ramirez of DeKalb, Illinois; son, Mitchell Barber of Rome, Georgia; granddaughters, Moonstar Wallace Knight of Warner Robins, Georgia and Luna Ramirez Valdivia of DeKalb, Illinois; grandsons, Cloud Wallace of Warner Robins, Georgia and Theodin Winstead of DeKalb, Illinois; Aunt Tammy Schnorr of Sycamore, Illinois; Uncle David Dodson of DeKalb, Illinois as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Also surviving are special friends, David Layman of Asheville, North Carolina and William Bonney of Whitesburg.

She was preceded in death by her adored daughter and best friend, Ashley Ian Knight Wallace.
