

He retired from the U.S. Air Force and also worked for the Tom Green County Highway Department in Texas.
Mr. Humbert was a Lutheran by faith.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law: Eva “Buttons” and Glenn Rogers, Denise and Roger Wilson, and Debbie and Paul McCrary; son and daughter-in-law: Ted and Cheryl Humbert; five grandchildren and spouses: Mandee and Ren Pierson, Roger and Tiffany Wilson, Kim and Dennis Tompkins, Ray (Eddie) and Tiffany Wilson, and Adam T. Humbert; 15 great grandchildren; four sisters: Gertrude Gosnell, Lucille Humbert, Shelby Jones, and Ruth Jeffers; brother: Allen Humbert; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the son of the late Jesse and Grace Humbert and was preceded in death by three brothers: John Humbert, Herman Humbert, and Roy Humbert.
The family will receive friends 6pm-8pm Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 9am Friday, June 14, 2013, in Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Pastor Curtis Hurt officiating.
Interment will follow in Andrew Johnson National Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Paul McCrary, Roger Wilson Sr., Roger Wilson Jr., Eddie (Ray) Wilson, Adam T. Humbert, and Dave Gunter.
