He retired from Weavexx and John Deere.
He is survived by his wife, Jewell Ayers; two daughters, Kerria Emery and Brittany Broyles ( T.J. Culler), all of Greeneville; a son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Amanda Ayers of Sevierville; grandchildren: Kemra, Avery, Zayne, Gunner, Noah, and Addison; sisters and their spouses: Mitzi and Charles Moody of North Carolina, Judy and Bill Kennon of Greeneville, and Brenda and Gary Waddell of Greeneville; sisters-in-law: Marilyn Britton of Greeneville, Shirley Haire of Ohio, and Vernie Haire of Greeneville; brothers-in-law: Dennis and Judy Haire of Greeneville and Mickey Cox of Greeneville; several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Shelly and Mary of Amedisys Hospice.
