He was the former owner of Fleenor Real Estate in Jonesborough, TN. He was a member of the Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church in South Central.
Lloyd was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served in the 82 Airborne Division. He was a member of the Jonesborough Kiwanis Club for more than 35 years. He was also a Charter Member of the Nolichucky Volunteer Fire Department and a Founding Member of the South Central Ruritan Club.
Lloyd is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sallie Moore Fleenor; two sons, Lloyd Erik Fleenor (Tammy) of South Central and Jonathan Kyle Fleenor (Trisha) of Limestone; grandchildren: Savannah Fleenor (Nolan Gilliam), Mylie Fleenor Coker (Matthew), Colton Fleenor (Lauren), and Marshall Fleenor; a sister, Sherylann Ziokowski (John); and a cousin, Roland Edmonds (Debbie) of Scooba, MS.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd French Fleenor, Sr. and his mother, Helogene Roe Fleenor.
The family will receive friends 2:00-4:00 pm on Tuesday at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church at South Central preceding the funeral service which will be held at 4:00 pm. Rev. Emma Ward and Michael Brown will officiate.
Interment will then be conducted at Liberty Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Colton Fleenor, Marshall Fleenor, Bradley Thompson, Alex Moore, Josh Moore, Matthew Coker, and Nolan Gilliam.
Honorary pallbearers are the members of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church and Ronnie Brown.
