

She was a life-long nurse and a housewife.
Mrs. Harris attended Greeneville First Freewill Baptist Church.
She was a life-long caregiver and loved to take care of people. She also loved to attend her church when she was able.
Survivors include her son: Terry Lee Harris of Greeneville; daughter and son-in-law: Norma Jean and Dennis William Cantrell of Marshall, North Carolina; grandchildren: Karen Morgan, Deana Stephens, and Denise King; seven great grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; and her sisters: Marie Brown and Mary Frank Harmon.
She was the daughter of the late Elbert and Nora Cutshaw Dixon and was preceded in death by her husband: Grady Harris; grandson: Robert Anthony Harris; four brothers: Porter Dixon, Major Dixon, General “G.H.” Dixon, J.T. “Buck” Dixon, and two infant brothers; and three sisters: Una Dixon, Malcena Blake, Irene Renner, and an infant sister.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home preceding the funeral service at 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Brad Seaton will officiate.
Interment will follow at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Andrew Johnson National Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery Tuesday morning for the committal service.
Per her wishes, the casket will remain closed during the visitation and service.
