

He was employed by United Business Forms and attended House of the Lord Church as long as his health permitted.
Mr. Casteel was a veteran of the U. S. Navy.
He was dearly loved by his wife, children, family, friends and especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years: Kathy Casteel; three daughters and sons-in-law: Sherry and Kevin Cutler of Chuckey, Tonia and Miguel Leon, Christina Casteel and Todd Davis, all of Greeneville; grandchildren: Craig Cutler, Selena Leon, Dakota Sisk, Lorena Leon, Allen Casteel, Miguel Lorena and Alexander Leon; brothers and sisters-in-law: Steve and Beverly Casteel, Dave and Ann Casteel, all of Greeneville; sisters and brothers-in-law: Liz and Doyle Arwood of Greeneville, Martha and Kenny Harper of Linville, NC, Ann and Stanley Souder of St. Albans, WV; sisters-in-law: Rosie Casteel, Glenna Casteel, Phyllis Casteel, Euna Casteel and Regina Casteel.
He was the son of the late Rev. Elmer and Ruby Casteel and was preceded in death by one sister,
Barbara Boyd; seven brothers, Jim, Harold, Roger, Fred, Phillip, Charles Elmer and Billy
Casteel.
The funeral service will be 1 pm Tuesday, September 16, 2013, at the House of the Lord Church.
Rev. Lynn Mercer, Rev. Kenny Harper and Rev. Jeff Casteel will officiate. Burial will follow at Andrew Johnson National Cemetery.
The family expressed a special thank you to all his co-workers at United Business Forms for everything they have done.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The Greene County Honor Guard and the Tennessee National Guard will conduct a military graveside service.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 12 pm Tuesday to go in procession to the church for the service.
