Maggie Louise Duncan Shelton

Maggie Louise Duncan Shelton, 96, a native and resident of Lonnie Shelton Road in the South Central community of Washington County, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at Erwin Center for Aging and Health in Erwin, Tennessee.

She was a homemaker and an avid quilter.

Mrs. Shelton was a member of Liberty Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law: Carl L. Shelton and Andy and Margaret Cradic Shelton; daughter: Kathy Shelton Riek; grandsons and spouses: Mickey A. and Michelle Shelton and Marty A. and Nichole Shelton; granddaughters: Julie Shelton and Amy Shelton Robinson and husband, Ken; nine great grandsons and great granddaughters; five great-great grandsons and great-great granddaughters; many friends including four special friends: Emma Jean Graham, Audra Graves, Melissa Babb, and Crissy Babb; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Lonnie Shelton; infant daughter: Patsy L. Shelton; son: G. Ray Shelton; parents: Jack and Leona Duncan; and two sisters and one brother.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Marty Shelton and Rev. John Buchanan officiating.

Interment will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday in Liberty Church Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 12:45 p.m. Saturday at the cemetery for the graveside service.

Pallbearers will be Mickey A. Shelton, Mickey A. Shelton II, Cole Shelton, Logan Lawson, Jake Klotzback, and Ken Robinson.
