

She was employed by the US Forest Service for over 20 years.
She attended Liberty Free Will Baptist Church as long as her health permitted. She and her family sang for many years as the Hopson Quartet.
Survivors include one daughter: Hope Drummonds; two sons and three daughters-in-law: Tony and Margaret Reaves, Tex and Linda Reaves, and Patsy Reaves; twelve grandchildren: Lisa Dixon, Jennifer Haire, Jeff Reaves, Wendy Lundy, Melissa Crum, Page Hopson, Jody Burns, Matthew and David Drummonds, and Beth Denney, all of Greeneville, Cindy Miller of Murfreesboro, and Todd Reaves of Jonesborough; nineteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law: Pat and Paul Mercer; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Jerry Hopson and Jimmy and Jane Hopson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Howard Reaves; a son: Tim Reaves; two sisters: Glenna Jones and Betty Jones; two brothers: Jack Hopson and Ray Hopson; and parents: Nick and Mittie Blake Hopson.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following the visitation, a funeral service will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Jackie Miller and Joel Burns will officiate.
Interment will follow at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Greystone Freewill Baptist Cemetery. It is requested that family and friends meet at the funeral home Thursday at 10 a.m. to go in procession to the committal service.
Her pallbearers will be Matthew Drummonds, Todd Reaves, Jeff Reaves, Chris Hopson, Tim and Brad Miller, Doug Jones, and Steve Jones.
The family would like to express their gratitude to all her caregivers at Laughlin Healthcare Center.
