

Mrs. Rugaber was a homemaker and worked at Stix Baer and Fuller Department Store in St. Louis, Missouri, where she lived for 35 years before moving back to Greene County to live in the home she was raised in.
She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church and attended as long as her health allowed. She was a member of the St. James Young at Heart Club.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years: John W. Rugaber; a son and daughter-in-law: Warren and Jocelyn Rugaber of Webster Groves, Missouri; two grandsons: Sam and Charlie Rugaber also of Webster Groves; two brothers and sisters-in-law: David “Timer” and Anna Lee White of Greeneville and William “Bob” and Karen White of Bluffton, SC; two nieces: Delisa White of New York and Leigh Ann Arrington and her husband, Rex, of Greeneville; two nephews: Craig White and David White and his wife, Heather of Greeneville; and many friends.
She was the daughter of the late Edwin Carl and Ora Lee Kinser White and was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law: Edwin C. “Pete” and Rebecca White of Greeneville.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 pm Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel. The Rev. Carolyn Isley will officiate.
A private interment will be held 11:00 am Tuesday at Andrew Johnson National Cemetery. It is requested that family meet at the funeral home at 10:30 am Tuesday to go in procession to the cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Craig White, David White, Rex Arrington, Charles Kinser and Alan Broyles. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Kenneth Susong and staff, the staff of Life Care Center. The family would like to express special thanks to the staff of Life Care Center of Greeneville.
