He was a carpenter.
Matt was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include his fiancé: Michelle Lacy; sister: Christina Baughman of Nevada; two brothers: James Ramacus of New York and Alfonso Ramacus of Kingsport; two nephews: Raiden Ramacus and Chase Baughman; niece: Jasmine Ramacus; and special friends: Lura Lacy, whom he considered his second mother, and Anne Rehn, whom he considered his grandmother.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alfonso Ramacus, and mother, Toni Lubo Ramacus, both of Limestone.
There will be a “Gathering of Friends” at 5pm Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home on the Asheville Highway with a Memorial Service to follow at 6pm. The service will be conducted by James Kenney of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with music provided by James Bennington and Sister Lee.
