Matthew Allen Ricker

His family describes him as a bright, fun-loving, young man, who is deeply loved by not only his family, but many friends.

Allen is survived by his father: Jeffrey Ricker; mother: Debra Rednour; grandparents: Donnie and Gladys Ricker, with whom he made his home, and Frances Rednour; sister and best friend: Stacie L. Shipley; two half sisters: Chenoa and Dyani Ricker; half brother: Jacy Ricker; special nephew: Malachi Shipley; aunts and uncles: Terry and Betty Rednour, Kathy and Jay Lynn Stills, Phyllis Ricker and Becky and Buford Metcalf of Greeneville, and Tim and Lori Rednour of Morristown; and cousins: Jason Stills, Hayley Stills, Ethan Metcalf, Michael Rednour, Tabitha Rednour, Benjamin Rednour, Elliot Rednour, Miley Rednour, Andrew Rednour, and Ridge Rednour, all of Greeneville.

He is preceded in death by his half brother: Joshua Ricker; grandfather: R.J. Rednour; and his niece: Abigail Grace Ricker.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Buford Metcalf and Rev. Hubert Metcalf will officiate.

Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at River Hill Cemetery. It is requested that family and friends meet at the funeral home at 12 p.m. Thursday to go in procession to the committal service.

His pallbearers are Ethan Metcalf, Jason Stills, Jacy Ricker, Danny Garber, Terry Rednour, and Timmy Rednour.

Jay Lynn Stills, Terry Greer, Larry Garber, Ricky Garber, and Dustin Landers will serve as honorary pallbearers.
