She was a housewife and helped on the farm.
Survivors include her mother: Mary Babb of Afton; sister and brother-in-law: Janice and Jerry Keith Fillers of Greeneville; two brothers and a sister-in-law: Jerry and Barbara Babb, Connie Babb, all of Afton; special cousin: Joyce DeBoard and husband, Bill, of Medway, OH; special niece: Christine Jolena Babb of Kingsport; sister-in-law: Geraldine Babb of Kingsport; numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Reece Babb; her husband, Stanley Peters; one brother,
Donnie Babb.
Mitzie’s mother and brother Connie,were her special caregivers for five years.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Rev. David Dugger and Rev. Billy Moore will officiate.
There will be no formal visitation.
