Rev. Moss J. Bullard

Rev Moss J Bullard passed on to his heavenly reward at the age of 82 on this, The Lord's resurrection day; Sunday April 17, 2022. He was born May 4, 1940 one of eleven children of the late Samuel and Halie Bullard of Claiborne Co. TN.

Surviving sisters are Laureen Harrell of Indianapolis IN, Sue Prater of Tazewell TN.

He was preceded in death by brothers John, Sherman, Pryor and Charles; sisters Axie Mae, Ruth, Olean and Mary. He was married to the late Barbara Jean Bullard with whom he had six children. Earl (Geneva) Bullard of Morristown, David (Stacy) of CO. Amy (Sammy) Willis of Greeneville.

Preceded in death by a son Rev. Tommy Bullard, daughter Lisa Alsop and an infant daughter Deborah.

He married 2nd wife Fannie Bullard with two step children; Elly (Frankie) Smith of Greeneville and the late Jerry David (JD) Wampler.

He was preceded in death by an infant son Robert Moss.

He is survived by his loving wife Jan Bullard who was his rock and was always by his side during his long and courageous battle with a heart condition.

Moss was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather. He loved God and was a well-known preacher within the community for many years. He leaves behind several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Kiser Rose Hill Funeral Home from 12-2pm Thursday, April 21, 2022 with funeral to service in the chapel of Kiser Rose hill Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Thacker and Earl Bullard officiating. Interment will follow at Cross Anchor Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Greene County Humane Society. The family would like to thank Dr. Woods and staff and Avalon Hospice for all of their care and support.
