

She was retired from MECO after 26 years of service.
She was a member of Lord’s Tabernacle Church and was also a member of the Ladies Group of Lord’s Tabernacle Church.
Mrs. Hinkle is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: Doug and Ida Hinkle of Greeneville; two step sons and step daughters-in-law: John and Lou Ann Hinkle of Mosheim, Jimmy and Wilma Hinkle of Greeneville; six grandchildren: Andrew Hinkle, Pam Hinkle, Eliza and Dustin Hensley, Karen Hinkle, Eddie Hinkle, and Tubby of St. Louis, Missouri; five great grandchildren: Zachery Hinkle, Nathaniel Hensley, Emily Hinkle, Shawn Hinkle, and Autumn Hensley; several step grandchildren, including a special step grandson: Richard McCoy and spouse Sherrie of Rockford, Illinois; several nieces and nephews; and two special friends: Goldie Cutshall and Geraldine Thornburg.
She was the daughter of the late Henry and Eva Lou Jones Arwood and was preceded in death by her husband, Hobart Hinkle; a son: Dennis Hinkle; two sisters; and three brothers.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
The funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 23, 2011 in Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Buster Shelton and Rev. Ken Griffin officiating.
Interment will follow at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Pine Grove Cemetery. It is requested that family and friends meet at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home to go in procession to the committal service.
Her pallbearers will be friends of the family.
