

He retired from Pet Milk.
He was a member of Union Temple United Methodist Church.
Paul served his country in the Korean War. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge #3 of Greeneville, the Order of the Eastern Star #223, and the Kerbela Shrine Club.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Jerry Lynn and Teresa Dixon and Jackie Alan and Alfreda Dixon; three grandchildren: Rebekah Dixon, Mikel Dixon and wife, Lindsay, and Jacklyn Dixon; three great grandchildren: Jabez, Brooklyn, and Keveena Dixon; and his brothers and sisters: Kenneth and Roger Dixon, Penny Thomas, and Clairene Foshie.
He was the son of the late John and Ethel Dixon and was preceded in death by his wife: Anna Beth Pickering Dixon; and a daughter: Paula Ann Dixon.
The family will receive friends from 6pm-8pm Wednesday and Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 10am Friday, July 11, 2014, at Union Temple United Methodist Church with Rev. Richard Bowers officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at Union Temple United Methodist Church at 10 o’clock Friday morning for the funeral service.
Interment will follow in Union Temple Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Timothy Houser, Benjamin Houser, Keith Dixon, Johnny Dixon, Kevin Morrison, and Richard Morrison.
Mikel Dixon and Jabez Dixon will serve as honorary pallbearers.
