

Mr. Manis was a widely-known concrete truck driver in Greene County.
Survivors include his devoted wife of 45 years: Louise Manis; a son and daughter-in-law: Willie and Rita Manis of Greeneville; a daughter and son-in-law: Alice and Scott Nichols of Greeneville; three grandchildren: Laura Manis, Melissa Manis, and Tyler Nichols, all of Greeneville; two sisters and a special brother-in-law: Lucille and Cleatus Key and Betty Cox, all of Greeneville; a sister-in-law: Betty Ragsdale of Baileyton; three brothers and sisters-in-law: George and Betsy Manis of Greeneville, Tommy and Geraldine Manis of Parrottsville, and Kenneth and Kathy Manis of Greeneville; three special brothers-in-law and their wives: Dwight and Pat Cogdill and Doug and Thelma Cogdill, all of Greeneville, and Troy and Patty Cogdill of Midway; three sisters-in-law and their husbands: Gale and Sonny Reynolds of Mosheim, Patricia and Ralph Stone of Indiana, and Teresa Vasquez of Mosheim; several nieces and nephews; and his special friends: Harry Dean Reynolds of Greeneville and Rick Bowman of Greene County.
He was a son of the late Jessie and Verna Mae Manis and was preceded in death by two brothers: Lawrence Ragsdale and a twin brother, James Manis, who died at birth.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Oscar McAmis and the Rev. James Carter will officiate.
Interment will follow in Cross Anchor Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Terry Gardner, T.J. Manis, Chad Bowman, Brian Manis, John Woolbright, Chris Cox, Leroy Key, and Jerry Redmond.
