Rena Mae Shelton Witt

She retired from Magnavox.

Rena was a 50+ year member of Warrensburg Baptist Church, where she taught the young children’s Sunday School class. She also served on the building and grounds committee.

She enjoyed gardening, making jewelry, and animals.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews; honorary grandson, Wyatt Fitzgerald; special friend and caregiver, Ruth Banks; special caregivers, who went above and beyond: Tara Cox, Nikki Majors, Cindy Cogburn, Elizabeth Banks, and Virginia Mathes.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Doyle “Butch” Witt; brothers: Tom Shelton, Bud Shelton, and Grover Shelton; sisters: Pansy Shelton Taylor, Dollie Shelton Bible, Elva Shelton Higgins, and Ona Shelton.

The family will receive friends 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will then be held at 2:00 pm in the chapel with interment to follow at Pine Grove Church Cemetery.

Rev. Will Scott will officiate. Pallbearers will be her church family and friends.
