

He was disabled and was a member of Disabled American Veterans and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Mr. Woods was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years: Carolyn Woods; two daughters: Carrie Woods and Patti Woods; one son: R.J. Woods; two brothers: Tommy Woods and Vinnie Woods; a special aunt and his godmother: Linda Irwin; a special uncle: Artie Irwin; three special cousins: Annie Galgan, Linda Borisuck, and John Irwin; his mother-in-law and father-in-law: Joe and Pat Gentilucci; a brother-in-law: Joey Gentilucci; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the son of the late Richard and Mary Woods and was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Woods.
His family stated, "He was a loving husband, father, and best friend. He will be missed by his many special friends including Georgene and Brad Coons and Lori and Christopher Doyle."
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
A memorial service will follow at 8 o'clock in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Jim Harvey will officiate.
Military funeral honors will be conducted by the Greene County Honor Guard at 4 o'clock Friday afternoon at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
