Ron E Bergquist Jr.

Ron was a lifelong member and administrator of the Greeneville Moose Lodge #692 where he made it his life’s mission to be an advocate of Mooseheart in Chicago, IL and Moose Haven in FL. He and his wife, Vicki enjoyed visiting the children there, especially during Christmas. Ron had reached the highest level in the degree process obtaining Pilgrim status. He also received the State of TN Moose Lifetime Achievement Award. He had been the Moose TN State secretary for the last four years.

Ron was a member of the Jericho Shrine Temple in Kingsport, TN. He attended Greeneville First Church of God.

He was preceded in death by his father: Ronald Earl Bergquist Sr. and Patty Bergquist of Greeneville and his step-father: Howard C. Tullock of Greeneville.

He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years: Vicki Freshour Bergquist; his mother: Margaret Tullock of Greeneville; a son: Mark Bergquist (Jodie) of Brookshire, TX, a daughter: Chan Humbert (Eric) of Greeneville. He was the proud grandfather of Zackary (Callie), Coleman, Irelyn Bergquist of Brookshire, TX, and Alexis Humbert of Manayunk, PA. He is also survived by a brother: Carl (Sandy) Bergquist of Hendersonville, TN; nieces and nephews: Shawn (Stacie) Bergquist, Karla (Dustin) Snyder, Doug (Soledad) Bergquist, Shelby (Jacob) McCafferty; special friends: Gayle Myers, Johnny Mac and Allsion, Don and Vanessa, Lewy and Sally, Dewy and Willie, David Regal and Mark Bowers.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm on Sunday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow at 4:00 pm. Pastor Gerald Rudd and Pastor Ralph Shipley will officiate. There will be a separate memorial service at a later date by the Greeneville Moose Lodge #692.
