

He was retired as a carpenter and from Magnavox after 18 years of service.
Mr. Bowman is survived by his wife of 32 years: Marcena Bowman; daughter and son-in-law: Angie and Kevin “Bucky” Ayers of Greene County; son: Jeremy Bowman of Greene County; four grandchildren: Brock Campbell, Jada Bow, Jackson Bowman, and Nolan Bowman, all of Greene County; two great grandchildren: Brooklyn Tweed and Brantley Campbell of Greene County; mother: Edith Wright of Greene County; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Bud and Bertie Freshour of Greene County; brother and sister-in-law: Tommy and Linda Bowman of Greene County; sister and brother-in-law: Betty Jo and Gene Hopson of Greene County; two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law: George Freshour, Beth and Vic Thompson, all of Greene County; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Bowman.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home preceding the funeral service at 8:00 p.m. in Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Gene Swatzell officiating.
Interment will follow at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Greystone Cemetery. It is requested that family and friends meet at 10:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
His pallbearers are Steve Hopson, Todd Hopson, Brandon Hopson, Edward Graham, Andrew Hampton, Ricky Hampton, Jackie Shanks, Alan Bookhammer, Kenneth Bowman, Troy Dunn, and Jerry Hope.
His honorary pallbearers are the doctors and nurses and Takoma Regional Hospital and Amedysis Hospice.
