

Mrs. McAfee was a homemaker.
She was a lifetime member of Mount Hebron United Methodist Church and served as a conference delegate for 33 consecutive years.
Mrs. McAfee was a Calutron Girl at Oak Ridge laboratory during World War II.
Survivors include a daughter: Linda Pool Hysler and spouse, Ken, of Florida; son: Rick McAfee of Dayton, Ohio; granddaughter: Lisa White of Wisconsin; great-grandchildren: Bill Pool and Nick Pool of Florida and Brent Shaw and Dustin Shaw of Wisconsin; several nieces and nephews, including special nieces and nephews: Dan Leonard and wife, Linda, Larry Leonard and wife, Darla, Lynette Russell and husband, Roger; and several great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
She was the daughter of the late Samuel Rufus and Arel Gray Leonard and was preceded in death by her husband: Dillard McAfee; brother: Linton Leonard; granddaughter: Crystal Pool; and grandson: Craig Pool.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 8 p.m. in the chapel. The Rev. Steve Tuck will officiate.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Mount Hebron Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at 1:50 p.m. at the cemetery.
Friends of the family will be pallbearers.
