

He was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.
He retired from General Motors. He was a U.A.W. steward for Local 977.
Mr. Anderson was the commander of the American Legion Post #95 in Jonesboro, Indiana.
He loved spending time with family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, uncle, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: C.W. and Tammy Anderson of Marion, Indiana and Bob and Anna Anderson of Gas City, Indiana; a step-daughter: Elouise Brown; three granddaughters; two step-grandsons; five great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; special friends: Ross and Nadine Holt and Lola Olsen; aunts: Mable Cutshaw and Louise Jeffers; and one niece: Dawnell Reeder of Muncie, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Jean Anderson; parents, Charles W. and Mandy Jane Anderson; and a brother, Robert Anderson.
He served with the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was awarded the Bronze Star.
He loved racing, fishing, boats, riding Harley motorcycles, and his pets, especially his dog, Blue.
The family will receive friends from 2pm-6pm Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 6:00pm Monday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Robert Cook officiating.
Interment will be at Grant Memorial Park in Marion, Indiana at a later date.
