Sherry Elaine Holt

Sherry was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church where she played the piano and led singing. She was a hairstylist at Elite Beauty Salon. Sherry was devoted to her family and friends. She was a faithful volunteer to The Hope Center where she loved the clients and their children.

She was the daughter of Charles and Barbara Holt of Mosheim. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Harry and Juanita Holt and Fred and Mildred Irene Shelton.

Left to cherish her memory along with her parents are her sister and brother-in-law: Pamela and Wayne Hughes of Afton; nieces and nephews: Brittany and Jacoby Adams of Mosheim, Jacob and Ava Marie Hughes of Afton; great nephew and niece: Jayden Charles and Harper Viola Adams; uncle and aunt Kenneth and Kathy Holt; special cousin: Nathan Holt; great aunt: Wanda Cox, her special Helen “Mamaw Hewen” Hughes, and many cousins.

Pallbearers will be: Wayne Hughes, Jacoby Adams, Jacob Hughes, Nathan Holt, Donnie Ward, Chris Brown, Caleb Foulks and T. J. Schlotman.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Holt and Andrell Mills, members of Shady Grove Baptist Church and the staff, volunteers and clients at the Hope Center, and her family at Elite Beauty Salon.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home preceding the funeral service at 7:00 pm. Rev. Mike Harmon will officiate. The interment will be held at 11:00 am Thursday at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10:15 am Thursday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
