Thomas Haynes Chandler

He was a surveyor.

Survivors include his companion of 29 years: Almira Jones; step children: Tammie Ogle and her husband Jody, and Doug Jones; step grandchildren: Brittany Ogle Seal, Lindsey Ogle, and Nikki and Stephen Jones; sister: Barbara Sams; two nephews, a niece, and their spouses, who were like children: Laura Brooks and her children: Chase and Eli Brooks Marty and Amy Higgins and their children: Megan and Larry Gilbert and their children, Jon and Max Gilbert, Brynne and Devon Ruble and their daughter Sophie; Jess and Angie Higgins and their children: Jay and Katy Higgins; two dear aunts: Wilda Chandler and Anna Mae “Pete” Million; uncle: Cecil Jeffers; and his special friends: David “Worm” Miller, Mike Furgason, Mitchell Chandler, Nancy “Fig” Newton, and Mike Dunn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thurman and Elizabeth Chandler.

At his request, his body will be cremated. There will be no formal services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to defray funeral expenses.
