

Mr. Reedy was retired from Summers Taylor Paving and was a farmer.
He was a member and deacon of Sunrise Missionary Baptist Church for over 40 years.
He was U.S. Army veteran.
Mr. Reedy was survived by his wife of 61 years: Solon Frances Glasscock Reedy; two daughters: Ronda Fay Reedy and Reba Kay Ricker; son-in-law: William H. Ricker; son and daughter-in-law: Thomas R. Reedy Jr. and Sarah Shaw Reedy; son: Thomas Solon Reedy; five grandchildren: special granddaughter Frances Ann (Dean) Patrick, Rita (Dean) Bailey, Josh Dean, William Thomas Jr. Ricker, and a special granddaughter from God Bobbie Lavon Reedy; several great grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law: Delcie and Jimmy Harmon, Ellen Evans; brother and sister-in-law: Lessie and Billy Sue Reedy; sister-in-law: Mary Sue Reedy; four very special friends: David and Peggy Jeffers and Danny and Linda Duty; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the son of the late Margaret (Gilliam) and Raymond R. Reedy and was preceded in death by a daughter, Rita Shay Reedy, brother, Ray Reedy, and sister, Myrtle Reedy.

The family will receive friends from 6pm-8pm Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Junior Shipley officiating.
