

He was retired.
Mr. Fillers was a Christian.
He was a loving husband, daddy, and pappaw who will always be loved and missed. He was a man that gave more to others than he took. He was a kind-hearted man that loved animals and saw the good in everyone.
Wayne came to know the Lord and is now in Heaven.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and took every opportunity to do so.
He served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years: Brenda Fillers; daughter and son-in-law: Samantha “Maggie” and Lonnie Gregory of Greeneville; son and daughter-in-law: Scottie and Bethany Fillers of Crossville; sisters: Peggy Shelton and Clara Malone of Greeneville; brother and sister-in-law: Randy and Shandi Fillers of Church Hill; grandsons: Johnathon Morgan and wife Tiffany of Greene County and Hudsun Scott Fillers of Crossville; several aunts uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; many special friends; and his special cat: “Puddin’”.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Della Bea Fillers.
The family will receive friends 12pm-3pm Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 3pm Saturday, June 22, 2013, in Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Buster Shelton and Bobby Ricker officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be his family and friends.
The Greene County Honor Guard and the Tennessee National Guard will conduct a military service.
