William Billy Dale Matthews

Billy was a member of Brown Springs Baptist Church and an employee of Parker Hannifin.

He is survived by his mother: Evelyn Matthews of Greeneville; sister and brother-in-law: Marilyn and Fred Grigsby of Greeneville; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Neal and Ruth Matthews of Greeneville and Burlin and Jane Matthews of Chuckey; special nieces and nephews: Alice and Jeff Lawson of Mooresburg, Tennessee, Ashley and Tim Evans of Springfield, Ohio, and Justin and Michelle Matthews of Greeneville; special great nephew: Carter Randolph of Mooresburg, Tennessee; special aunts and uncles: Joyce Hardin of Mosheim, Judy and Marvin Sellers of Michigan, Jessie Lou and J.W. Bright of Georgia, and James Morelock of Mosheim; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Matthews, and a very special friend, Becky Williams.

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home preceding the funeral service at 8:00 p.m. in Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel. Rev. Richard Long will officiate. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Mosheim Central Cemetery.

His pallbearers will be Tommy Gregg, Steve Gregg, Bobby Gale Gregg, Danny Gregg, Sammy Hardin, Phil Hardin, and Jimmy Morelock. His honorary pallbearers will be his fellow employees of Parker Hannifin and the staff of Laughlin Health Care.

It is requested that family and friends meet at 10:15 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home to go in procession to the committal service. Memorials may be made to the Greeneville Greene County Humane Society, P.O. Box 792, Greeneville, TN 37744.
