Wilma V. Galensky, age 82, of Greeneville, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2022 at home, surrounded by family. She was born in Cherry Grove, WV on the Happy Hunting Grounds. Wilma was formerly of Harrisville, Ohio prior to moving to Tennessee. she was active in her church there, played guitar, singing ministry, and made visitations to nursing homes and others homebound. She loved God, her family, and had a very special friend of Ohio, Florence Carpico. She was like a nurse to others: caring, nurturing, and never did let anyone go hungry - cooking gardening, and canning. She made the best Cabbage Rolls and Lasagna, many remember. She was was a good friend to many and a Saint of God. She will be missed and was truly loved. She's home now at God's Throne, singing praise songs to Him. She is survived by her children, Brenda Galensky, Gloria Corkran, Charity Galensky, Michael Galensky, and Douglas Warner; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and sister, Joy Warner Gainer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Dick” C. Galensky; son Gerald Galensky; one granddaughter, Desiree Galensky Jasko; parents, Ethel Mae Bennett Warner and Samuel Warner; four brothers, Freddie Warner, Roscoe Pete Warner, Willard Warner, and Charles Warner; two sisters, Pauline Warner Bonnell and Vallie Warner Wilhoit; The family will receive friends from 3-7pm on Sunday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow in the chapel with Rev. Brian Wagers officiating. Interment will be held on Monday at 1:00 pm at Andrew Johnson National Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 12:00 pm to go in procession.
