Born in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, Alma was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend whose kindness and strength touched everyone who knew her.
Alma is lovingly remembered by her sons David Fell (Lisa) and Todd Fell (Denise), and her cherished grandchildren Jake, Tess, Auri, and Gavin, who were her greatest joy. She was predeceased by her sisters Marcelle McNamara and Carol Vineberg.
In her earlier years, Alma worked with dedication and professionalism at the Bank of Nova Scotia. After retiring, she devoted her time and energy to her family, finding her greatest happiness in being present for her children and grandchildren. She was a talented cook, well-known for her pies, and always ready to share a meal or lend a helping hand.
Alma enjoyed reading, friendly games of Mahjong and Euchre, and visits with friends. She also loved to travel and cherished her trips abroad. Later in life, after moving to Chartwell Royal on Gordon Retirement Residence, Alma found renewed independence and companionship. The family is deeply grateful to the staff and residents there for their kindness, care, and the friendships that enriched her final year.
Alma will be dearly missed and forever remembered for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for her family.
A mass will be held for Alma at The Basilica of Our Lady at 28 Norfolk St, in Guelph at 11am on November 7th, 2025. There will be a reception afterwards at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home 1099 Gordon St. Guelph, ON N1G 4X9. 519-821-5077.
