

Born on September 1, 1938, in Port Formoso, São Miguel, Azores, Antonio was the beloved husband of Ana Maria, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and devotion. Together they built a beautiful family and a home filled with laughter, resilience, and joy.
Antonio was a proud and loving father to Tony (Leanne), Danny, Paul, Jason (Meghan), and Diana (Jason), and a cherished grandfather to Anthony, Jordan, Jesse, Alyssa, Austin, Heaven, Paul, Avalynn, Mason, Rosaline, and great granddaughter.
Violet, His family was his greatest pride, and he found endless happiness in watching them grow and succeed.
Known for his warmth and vibrant spirit, Antonio was the heart and center of every gathering. He loved fishing, telling stories, and making everyone feel welcome. His humor, generosity, and larger-than-life presence will be remembered by all who knew him.
Antonio's legacy is one of love, family, and community. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will live on in the countless lives he touched and in the joy he brought to every occasion.
Visitation Service will be held on Thursday August 28, 2025, from 2:00-4:00pm & 7:00-9:00pm at Gilbert McIntyre Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon St, Guelph. A funeral service to celebrate Antonio's life will be held on Friday August 29, 2025, at 10:30am at St. Joseph's Church, 409 Paisley Rd, Guelph, Family and friends are warmly invited to attend.
Donations can be made in lieu of flowers to the St. Joseph's Church in Guelph, Ontario.
