It is with deep sorrow we announce the peaceful passing of Blanca Ligia Orozco Atehortua on August 31, 2023 surrounded by her family at Hospice Wellington.

Loving wife to Hernando De Jesus Restrepo Cardona for 59 years. Devoted mother to Nhora Elena Restrepo Orozco (Julio Uribe), Marta Cecilia Restrepo Orozco, Hector Ivan Restrepo Orozco (Adriana Rodriguez), Andres Felipe Restrepo Orozco (Juliana Marin), Miguel Angel Restrepo Orozco (Katie Muschkat), and predeceased by her children Dario Alonso Restrepo Orozco (1995) and Carlos Humberto Restrepo Orozco (2014). Proud grandmother to Daniel Alberto Cipollini, Diego Andres Cipollini, Damian Alexander Cipollini (AKA Pelusa), Alejandro Uribe Restrepo, Sofia Restrepo Rodriguez, Carlos Enrique Restrepo Madrigal, Miguel Angel Restrepo Gomez, Mateo Angel Restrepo Muschkat, Lilly Ana Restrepo Muschkat, Lucas Restrepo, Mateo Restrepo. Cherished sister to Carmen, Fabiola, Olga, Amparo, Margot and predeceased by her siblings Eduardo, Elvia, Alba, Edilberto, Jorge. Predeceased by her loving parents Margarita Atehortua Herrera & Francisco Antonio Orozco Valencia.

Resting at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St. Guelph, cremation has taken place. The family invites friends and relatives for a visitation Saturday September 2, 2023 from 10:00am – 11:00am with a Celebration of her Life beginning in the chapel at 11:00am. All guests are welcome to join following the Celebration for a reception in the Hart Fellowship Lounge.
