Bruna Gatto

Beloved wife of the late Luigi Gatto for 64 years. Loving mother of Paola, Virg (Angela), Dan (Kerry), Luke (Nicole) and Dave (Jennifer). Cherished Nonna of eight grandchildren, Anthony, Michael, Katherine, Jonathan, Joshua (Summer), Bella, Ellysia, Jacob and stepchildren, Zack, Ryan, and Lucas and great grandchild, Lennox.

Bruna is survived by sisters Carla, Bianca, Elsa and Marisa. Brothers Franco, Italo, Luigino and Vito. Sister in-laws Antonietta, Luciana and Vittoria. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews in Canada, Italy and California and many relatives and friends.

Bruna was born in Caselle d'Altivole, Treviso, Italy and came to Canada in the early 1960's. She was a loving wife and mother that loved raising her family. She loved life, her family and Jesus, with a strong faith. Her love of baking and cooking was enjoyed by all. Especially her husband, Luigi. Bruna's kindness and generosity will be missed. Rest in peace, mom, nonna. We love you.

Friends and relatives are invited to visit Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home (1099 Gordon St. Guelph) on Monday, July 14th, 2025 from 6 – 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate Parish (28 Norfolk St. Guelph) on July 15th, 2025 at 10:30 am with the entombment at Marymount Cemetery. Refreshments and celebration of life will follow in the lower level of Church of Our Lady.
