Ines Angela Favrin

Born in Loria, Treviso, Italy, she came to Canada in 1964 with a strong-willed and resilient attitude and work ethic to provide for her family. She will be dearly missed by her son, Silvio and his wife, Diana, and her cherished grandchildren: Zoe and Teo.

Ines is predeceased by her husband, Lindo, her parents, Alice and Silvio, her siblings: Elsa, Pietro (Pierrin) and Lia. She is fondly remembered by her brother, Aldo and his wife, Margherita, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends from Canada and Italy.

A life well-lived, Ines enjoyed knitting, reading, listening to music, baking and reminiscing of her homeland.

Visitation will take place at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, located at 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, Ontario, on November 3, 2024 between the hours of 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on November 4, 2024 at 10:30 am at St. John’s Church located at 45 Victoria Road North, Guelph, Ontario immediately followed by interment at Marymount Cemetery, Guelph, Ontario.
