Cherished brother to Mark (Michele), Kim (Alex), and Ken (Theresa). Proud uncle to Matthew, Miranda, Adam, Alana and Nathan. Treasured friend to Debbie Jarvie. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Marguerite Barras. He will be missed by all his friends and extended family.
The family would like to thank Guelph General Hospital and St. Joseph’s Health Center for their compassion and care.
Born with a heart full of warmth, Jim's love for his family, especially his nieces and nephews, was unparalleled. He took pride in offering support, laughter, and cherished moments that will forever be held close to the hearts of those he leaves behind.
A gifted singer, Jim's voice resonated with passion and soul. His karaoke performances were legendary. With a great voice that could captivate any audience, he brought joy and laughter to countless karaoke nights.
As we say our goodbyes, let us remember Jim for the laughter he brought, the love he shared, and the songs that will forever echo in our hearts.
