Loving husband to Parbattie “Shirley” Deonarine for 59 years. Beloved father of Mala Surajram, Manoj Deonarine, Ravi Deonarine, Rishi Deonarine and Vijay Deonarine. Cherished grandfather of Rashme Surajram, Salisha Surajram, Rian Deonarine and Joshua Deonarine. Adoring great-grandfather to Saydan Lee and Saya Surajram. Dear brother to Cecil, Prandai, Dallin, Kathleen, Lila, Ramdat, Hardat, Deodat. Beloved son of Jadoo Deonarine and Dharamdai Deonarine. Will be greatly missed by all friends and extended family.

He was a man full of life, dedication and strength. He was a shining light to those who knew him as a symbol of resilience. Born and raised in Guyana, he lived his life as a hardworking man of many trades. He was a loving family man and devoted husband. After immigrating to Canada with his family, he enjoyed a life of ease surrounded by those he loved.

Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon St, Guelph. Visitation will take place on Thursday July 6, 2023, from 6:00-9:00pm. A Funeral Service will take place on Friday July 7, 2023 from 10:00-1:00pm. Cremation Witnessing to follow at 2:00pm.
