I am deeply heartbroken by the loss of Kamila, not only  a wonderful colleague but a dear friend. Kamila's kindness, grace and quiet strength touched me and so many others in ways words can hardly express. She was someone who made every space warmer simply by being herself.
 My heart especially goes out to her son William. I can only imagine how profound this loss must be for him. I know how much Kamila loved him and how proud she was to be his mother.  My thoughts and support are with William now, and I hope he will always carry the strength, kindness and love that Kamila surrounded him with.
Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with Danuta and the rest of Kamila's family during this difficult time. May her memory be a blessing and a source of comfort in the days ahead. Her memory will stay alive in all of us who were lucky enough to know her.
She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

Although Kamila and I didn’t grow up together, we didn’t share childhood memories and didn’t have a long history, it somehow felt like Kamila, and I had been friends for a lifetime.  To know Kamila was to truly love her and I’m grateful and blessed to have called her my friend in this life.  Kamila was smart, funny, genuine, compassionate, brutally honestly and the one friend you could always count on.   I’m grateful for it all, the good, the bad, the nonstop laughs and even the tears.  I truly believe that you don’t meet people by accident, behind everyone who enters your life, there is always a purpose, a lesson, or a blessing.  

I will forever miss Kamila and her memory will live forever in my heart.  

Kamila, I hope wherever you are that you have front row seats and are watching the northern lights dance across the night sky, just as you always dreamed.

My sincere condolences to all Kamila's family and friends on her tragic passing.  Kamila had a strong, quiet presence and her soul radiated an inner beauty that made her glow. I had the honor of being one of Kamila’s sorority sisters, and I always looked up to her. She was effortlessly stylish, unapologetically herself, and truly a force to be reckoned with. But what made Kamila so special was that beneath all that power and presence was the kindest soul. She would give the shirt off her back without hesitation, and she lit up every room she entered.

I met I had the privilege of knowing Kamila during our time at the University of Guelph. Though she was graduating just as I was starting, we shared a special bond through our sorority, and I only have the fondest memories of her. Kamila had a light about her — always smiling, always kind — and that warmth stayed with her long after she left campus.

I was lucky enough to spend time with her both during school and after she graduated, when she would return to visit. Her presence was always a joy, and it’s easy to imagine her now, still smiling down on her loved ones. She touched so many lives with her spirit and her laughter.

She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

I am deeply heartbroken to hear of Kamila’s passing. I met her 25 years ago at the University of Guelph, as sorority sisters. She was such a radiant light in this world – spirited, full of life, and she loved so fiercely. She brought so much warmth and laughter to those around her.

I knew Kamila only as a friend of a friend but I had the pleasure of spending a beautiful summer day with her and William and my daughter and friends in Port Dalhousie. It's true when it's said that she was a devoted mother. She took the opportunity of being surrounded by teachers to get advice and reassurance that the path she had set William on was correct and going to lead to his full potential. Her legacy will live on through William, her pride and joy. I'm so sorry for your loss. Kamila was one of the good ones.

I'm so sorry for your loss of Kamila.  We worked together on the HR team at ESA, and she was a kind and sweet person.  She was always very approachable, professional and supportive.   She was working hard in her role to improve and grow.  It is an incredible loss to lose your daughter, sister and friend, but for her son, my thoughts can imagine the significant grief he will feel and how much support he will need to understand his loss and the tragedy throughout his life.   She truly loved him dearly and showed it.

As I reflect on the memories we shared during our university days, I am filled with a mix of sadness and gratitude. Your radiance, beauty, kindness, and love lit up the room and touched everyone around you. Though two decades have passed since we last connected, the moments we spent together will always remain in my heart.

My heartfelt sympathies to Kamila's son and family.  I worked with her at ESA and was fortunate to have known her and shared stories, laughs and some lunches.  She was a truly lovely and fun loving human being.  Her beautiful smile and face has left us but her soul and presence will be added to light up the night sky.  Till we meet again.
