Mary Patricia (Foley) Healy

Patricia was 82 and living at Morriston Park Nursing Home, Puslinch.

Patricia was reunited with her loving parents, Jack and Gladys Foley (nee Hortop) and her sister and brother-in-law Francis and Allen Gibb. She will be missed by her sister's family and by her brother and his wife, John and Connie Foley and their family.

Patricia shared a love story for over 30 years with her late husband, Michael James Healy. Though cut too short, their story was filled with family, children and a large circle of friends from Toronto, Kitchener/Waterloo and their cottage town Lefroy. Patricia and Mike shared a love of sailing, reading, bridge, dinner parties, their cottage on the lake, red wine, cold beers, dancing, laughing and time spent together with family. Today, they are together again.

Patricia will remain in the hearts of Michael's brothers and sisters and their families. Patricia will be forever loved and so sadly missed by her children, Shawn Healy and his wife April Muszik, Kathleen Healy and her partner Tom Mackay, Colleen Vicic and her husband Nenad Vicic. Patricia was cherished by her grandchildren, Michael Dussin and his wife Larissa (nee Aubrey), Megan Dussin and her partner Kyle Phillips, Mallory Dussin and her partner Christopher Sutton, Brayden and Keegan Worsnop, Katie Lahey Muszik, Tyler Healy and his partner Lindsay and their four children, Kylie, Jocelynn, Logan and Wesley.

Patricia was a teacher librarian for over 30 years in both Toronto and Kitchener/Waterloo. After retiring, she travelled extensively, partnered in a restaurant, welcomed grandchildren into her life and enjoyed her winters in Florida with friends.

Patricia was blessed with a group of women that remained friends for over 70 years. She thought of them as sisters, and she loved them all so much. She will forever be in the hearts of "The Ladies of Loretta."

Special thanks to the PSW's and support staff of Morriston Park Nursing Home, both past and present, for your constant and compassionate care over the past 6 and a half years. Your kindness was a blessing to Patricia and her family.

Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon St, Guelph.

Private cremation has taken place.
