Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on March 8, 1962, to Ellen and William Grant, Patricia brought warmth, laughter, and compassion into the lives of all who knew her. A devoted mother, partner, grandmother, sister, and friend, Patricia's heart was as full as her life was rich.
She leaves behind her beloved partner, Doug Jackson; her cherished children: Casey Schellenberger, Nicole Sotnicki (Paul), and Kelli Jackson (Zac); and her adored grandchildren: Henley and Rowan, and her loyal grand-dog Diesel.
Patricia is survived by her brothers: Ted, Chris, Bill, and Scott Grant. She is predeceased by her husband John Schellenberger, her parents Ellen and William Grant, her sister Margaret Zimmerman, and her grandson Aiden.
Patricia’s life was marked by her many passions. She loved camping and spending time at the trailer, where family memories were made around campfires and under the stars. A talented cook and baker, her kitchen was always a place of comfort and connection. She found joy in cross-stitching, escaping to warm destinations, and cheering on her beloved Guelph Storm during hockey season.
Patricia’s legacy is one of kindness, resilience, and unwavering love for her family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know her.
Friends and relatives are invited to visit Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Hart Chapel (1099 Gordon St. Guelph) on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, from 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00 - 9:00 PM and again on Wednesday, May 21 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM. Funeral Service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 AM.
Donations may be made in Patricia’s memory to Hospice Wellington, whose care and compassion supported her and her family in her final days.
