Robert Dredge Croft

Dear father of Kimberley (Mike McGrath) of Guelph, Keri (Brian Kuechler) of Acton and Robyn (Scott Cribb) of Huntsville. Grandfather to Mason, Jacob and Emma.

Bob was preceded in death by his brother William Croft, and sisters Audrey Gibson and Evelyn Stewart. Bob will be laid to rest alongside his parents Robert and Eileen Croft. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Dearly missed by his good friend Pat.

Born on March 12, 1941, Bob was raised on and also raised his own family on Croftview Farms in Rockwood, ON. Bob spent his life on the farm, buying cattle at the Toronto Stockyards, raising and racing horses or trying to find his ball on the golf course.

Dad, we hope that your heaven is a big farm with lots of horses. You are free to go out for breakfast, indulge your sweet tooth, drink a caesar, sit outside all day long and drive any new car you want.

Thank you to the staff at Doon Village Retirement Residence and to Dr Tan and the Palliative Care Team for their support during a difficult time. The family is very grateful to Hospice Wellington for the comfort and attention they provided Bob and his family at his end of life.

A private family service will be held.
