She was the beloved partner of Stephen Jellet and his son Ethan. Daughter of Anna (late) and John Sr., Rosemarie is survived by her loving brothers John (Jacqueline), Daniel (Bree) and Aunts; Silvia and Rose (Mike). She loved and adored her nieces Jaden, Tyla, nephew Josh as well as her doggie Bolan. She is now turning up the volume in heaven with her late Nonno, Nonna, Mother Anna, Uncle Tom O’Neill, her late friends John McKinnon, Alan Larocque, Frank Grosso, Heather McNeil, Phil Naro and Jordan Voge.
She is loved and remembered by her extensive network of friends, colleagues, clients, musicians, spiritual community and chosen family; Tanya Hoffmann, Jan Giammichele, Jani Wales, Kimmie Lockington, Branka Donnelly, godson Christian Donnelly and Rob Carlton to name a few.
Rosemarie was a vibrant, loving and compassionate soul who lit the world up everywhere she went. She grew up in Acton and Niagara Falls before her family settled in Guelph, Ontario where she lived the rest of her life.
Rosemarie was a strong and independent woman. She achieved great success in her 30-year career with IG Wealth management as a Certified Financial Planner, Registered Life Planner and Mutual Funds Representative supporting individuals and families with comprehensive financial and long-term wealth strategies.
Rosemarie was known for her integrity, care for clients and thoughtful approach to her work. Her ongoing engagement in licensing, compliance obligations, and client service reflected a deep sense of responsibility and pride in her role. She became Canada’s first woman to earn the Registered Life Planner designation in 2010 and brought the life planning process as a value-added experience to her IG clients. She became a trainer with the Kinder Institute of Life Planning in 2011 and has inspired hundreds of financial professionals globally to put the lives their clients long to live at the centre of their financial plans.
Rosie was the glue of her family and friend groups. She made everyone feel like her best friend by learning the most important parts of their lives. She brought everyone together through her legendary pool parties where music and laughter were always front and centre. Her home was a second home for her family, friends and loved ones. Anyone who walked in the door knew Rosie would appear in moments wth her arms stretched out while voicing a warm and emphatic “Hey!” followed by a loving embrace.
Rosemarie loved to rock especially to Bon Jovi, Black Sabbath, The Beatles, T.Rex, Ozzy, Dio, Poison and Motley Crue. She was constantly attending music events and concerts with her friends and family. She brought the party everywhere she went in her beloved red Mustang.
Like her mother, Rosie will be remembered always for her compassionate and loving heart. Her acts of kindness and love are her legacy. Connecting to others is what made her happy. If you can, please continue her path of kindness and do something today to help another in her honour.
On Saturday June 27, 2026, we will have a celebration of life for Rosie at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son, HART CHAPEL (1099 Gordon St. Guelph N1G 4X9). Cremation has taken place. Our family will receive guests from 1-3pm in the visitation room.
