Scott Alan Mohr

He was born on July 18, 1964 in Windsor, Ontario to Carl and Rosemarie Mohr, who preceded him in death. Scott married the love of his life, Shelley, on December 21, 1985 and together they built a beautiful life filled with love and devotion.

Scott was an incredible father to his children, Nathaniel (Monika), Joel (Maddison), and Lindsey. His family was the center of his world and he took immense pride in their accomplishments, cherishing every moment spent together. As a brother to Brenda Walker (Galen), Scott and Brenda shared a special bond that was built on love, laughter, and memories. Scott was an adored uncle to his nieces and nephews, as well as a respected and admired friend and colleague. A devout Christian, Scott found strength and comfort in his faith. He was a man of prayer, whose unwavering belief in God guided him through life's challenges and triumphs. Scott had a passion for learning and a keen interest in geology, history, astronomy, and geography. He found inspiration in the wonders of the natural world and spent countless hours exploring its mysteries. Scott enjoyed spending time outdoors, taking leisurely walks with his beloved wife Shelley and their family. Scott also spent many hours playing his guitar, singing, and writing his own songs of worship.

Scott leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, giving, and faith. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he may be gone from this earth, his spirit will live on in heaven and in the hearts of those who loved him.

Family and friends are invited to visit at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home – Hart Chapel (1099 Gordon St. Guelph) on Sunday, May 26 from 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm. On Monday, May 27, 2024, there will be a visitation from 12 – 1 pm followed by a Funeral Service in the chapel at 1 pm. Donations may be made to ‘Grace to You Canada’ in Scott's memory.
