He owned and operated Alvin MacDonald Trucking & Excavation Ltd with his daughter, Kimberly and grandson Cody until his recent retirement. They will continue to carry on his legacy.
He enjoyed spending the summers in his motorhome in Roseberry, PEI where many memories were made with family and friends and those friends who became family. He also enjoyed following the Bluegrass Festivals for many years as well as being an avid Nascar Racing fan and he enjoyed travelling.
He had an unforgettable belly laugh that was contagious and had a wonderful sense of humour and he left an incredible mark on so many people. He was the best husband, father, friend, grandfather and recently a great-grandfather which he loved. He cherished his family time and always showed his love and support while being determined and stubborn at times, traits he passed onto a few of us, but always the hardest worker.
He is survived by his special friend, Clara Vincent of Eldon, PEI whom he adored and we are so grateful for; his daughter, Kimberly (Cory Lake) of White’s Lake, NS; son, Gregory (Terri) of Terence Bay, NS; sisters, Fran Hancock, Flat River, PEI; Shirley Jardine, Halifax, NS; Heather MacPherson, Murray Harbour North, PEI;7 Grandchildren, Tyler (Anna), Shaelynn (Cody Small), Jaxson (Nhi Dinh), Cody (Jill MacSween), Melissa Shaw, Jonah and Chloe Lake. 3 Great –Grandchildren, Owen, William and Henry and several special Nieces and Nephews.
