A wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, a “Matriarch of our extended family”. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Her favourite place on Earth was anywhere, any place, as long as she was with family. She also looked forward to spending time with her dear friends in the evenings. She left a print of her heart on all those who were blessed to have met her. “The world was a better place yesterday”. She will long be remembered for her unconditional love and her beautiful contagious smile. “Mom, we shall miss you so much. The void in our hearts can never be filled again. We love you.” She was a most ardent supporter of a child help organization www.everychildcounts.ca and taught us well how to care for others. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or Everychildcounts.
